Your Account on You2U gives you:
Express yourself with your profile. Your profile is your space on You2U. You can add information about yourself, post Blog Entries, add your contact information for others to contact you as well as a place for other members to leave messages or "shouts."
You2U's Courses are a major component of our education network. Each registered school has the ability for its instructors to setup courses based on their classes. Each of these courses is a hub for information about that course. Information such as homework assignments, notes as well as announcements. Each course features the ability for members to upload files, submit message board topics for discussion as well as connecting with their friends on You2U.
Each registered member of You2U automatically gets a free blog on You2U's network. Your blog is your chance to post whatever you wish, it doesn't even have to be education related. If you want to post that you just "bought a new puppy" or "are really tired of homework" it is totally up to you. Please note that what you post will only be visible to those individuals whom are you have confirmed as friends.
With each course on You2U comes bundled a Message Board for topic discussion for that course. Anyone who has membership to that course may start a topic and either the instructor or other members of that course can reply. Message boards are an excellent resource for posting useful information for students such as assignments, homework, notes, lectures, etc.
