Writing Center

The Writing Center provides free writing assistance for AiW students from all disciplines and at all stages of the writing process. Discuss your writing with consultants who are experienced writers and teachers of writing. Sessions are interactive. Through close reading and questions, your consultant will help express and articulate your ideas. Your consultant can work with you at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to writing to revising. Consultants will not edit your paper for you but will help you learn to find your grammatical and mechanical errors so that you will be able to correct them on your own.

Bring a copy of your writing, or just your ideas, to the session. If you have a class assignment, then please bring a copy of the assignment sheet as well.

We look forward to seeing you at The Writing Center!
