Art Foundations Tutoring Day

If you want additional advice and instruction from Art Foundations faculty on how to improve your artwork, take advantage of this opportunity!

  • No pressure environment
  • One-on-one instruction.
  • Set up a customized tutoring time with your professor (anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes.)
  • Set up a weekly meeting schedule, or just drop in on a one-time basis.

General Education

The General Education (GenEd) requirements describe the core courses all students must take in order to graduate. They are an important component of students' education at The Art Institute of Washington. Besides specializing in a major and training for a career, students should become familiar with some of the many rapidly changing disciplines. Through these requirements, students:

  • Expand their historical, aesthetic, culture and philosophical perspectives.
  • Improve critical and analytical thinking.
  • Learn skills in finding, managing and communicating knowledge.

Digital Art Development

Meets on Mondays and Wednesdays
11am - 1pm, Room 807
2pm - 4pm, Room 1004

These workshops are designed to help beginning students achieve success with CS106, Computer Applications for the Applied Arts. Get extra HELP on projects assigned in your class, or just use the time to get your work done in the lab. Professor Jeremy Bomberg will be there to assist you.

Alpha Chi Lambda

Alpha Chi is the Art Institute's honor society that admits students from all academic discipline. All members must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and have a minimum of 90 credit hours.
